Fritha played violin, keyboard and mandolin with signed folk/thrash band Skyclad in the 90's, touring Europe and recording albums. Since then they have played and performed a diverse range of music from folk to sound art. Live performances include Supernormal Festival, Purcell Rooms, Southbank, Queens House NMM, the Poetry Cafe, London Astoria, BBC sessions and Resonance FM. They recently did a period of R&D funded by DYCP Arts Council England working with queer neurodivergent musicians.

Louise Ashcroft’s performance,Talking to a Brick Wall 2018, CCA Goldsmiths, London - playing the wall as a performance score for the duration of the work.

Buckner Building (Naomi Graham, recorder/vocals/cello and Fritha Jenkins, violin and Keziah Hodgson, vocals), lead your ears to places not always easily located. Reinterpretations of old english carols, north african folksongs and original compositions are combined with prepared sounds, live improvisation and looping on violin, recorders, english bagpipes and voice. Buckner Building hosted ‘ Tremulous’ - an evening of experimental art and music at the Asylum Chapel in Peckham.

RCM|RCA Collaboration 1. 17th November 2014. Royal College of Music. 'Ochlocracy Orchestra' performance work was a collaboration between Louise Ashcroft, Fritha Jenkins and Alex Chalmers, using old reel to reel tape recorders, live and found sounds, actions, video and spoken word.
